Danville Family YMCA Annual Campaign

We’re more than a gym. We’re a cause devoted to helping youth achieve their potential, empowering people of all ages lead healthier lives, and strengthening the bonds of community in Danville.

The YMCA's Annual Campaign, “For a Better Us®”, allows us all to imagine more for children, families, and adults in our community. Our goal is to raise $75,000. YMCA membership dues operate the facility by keeping the lights on, the water hot, and provides state of the art work out equipment. 100% of Annual Campaign gifts directly fund our scholarship program, which ensures we don’t have to turn any individuals/children or families away who can’t afford a membership or programs. This directly supports our mission of Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility.

The YMCA’s goal is to provide programs that offer a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Through the scholarship program, we are able to provide full or supplemental scholarships to individuals, children, and families for membership and/or programs such as basketball, swimming lessons, after school programs, and summer day camps. We provide a safe, healthy, fun and character building experience for the youth in our area.
